Who We Are
Founded on June 1st, 2013, The Homeless Coalition of Fort Wayne, Inc., doing business as Lifetime.Education, is an educational 501(c)3 non-profit serving those impacted by homelessness, poverty, mental illness, and substance abuse through free group and individual Distance and eLearning systems provided on-line as well as halfway houses, transitional homes, shelters, and other partner facilities.
We began doing business as Lifetime.Education when we began offering our services beyond Fort Wayne. The new name better reflects our priorities, our vision, and our multi-city approach. Why lifetime? Simply put: learning never stops!
We believe we can all do more when we work together. This is why Lifetime.Education was founded and operates based completely on partnerships. We are a volunteer-based organization that takes education to our clients, wherever they may be, free of charge.
Why We Started

The experience in community organizing, curriculum development, and capacity building building an educational non-profit, that today operates as Lifetime.Education, the ideal path to take. Although founded as the Homeless Coalition of Fort Wayne, our focus has grown to include all impacted by homelessness, poverty, mental illness, and substance abuse.
